Our farms goal is to become completely self sustainable by having no outside input. In order to do this, we need to mimic nature. That is our goal and will be achieved by cover crops, seed saving, growing pig and chicken food, and using solar power. We build soil using diverse cover crops, holistic rotational grazing, minimal mechanical disturbance, and other natural methods of vegetable and crop production. In the process of seeking organic certification. When in full production, we will raise pastured organic poultry and eggs, organic pastured pork, organic beef, organic fruit and vegetables, and grass-fed and finished beef. We feed them cover crop hay that we have grown along with leftover vegetables from our farming. The other feed we feed them is a Soy free NON-GMO food through Bar-Ale.
