Jacobs Family Berry Farm
Our farm dates back to the 1870’s and was a dairy farm. We purchased the farm in 2002 and in 2010 began growing berries after converting an alfalfa field into a berry field. We continued expanding the berry field with more plants and in 2012 added a hoop house with more berry plants. Now we have 16 varieties of almost 1000 raspberry & blackberry plants and have converted a 1900’s brick creamery into a berry store selling fresh berries and berry products. In 2011 we also broadened our berry farm business by fixing up the property and using it for events including weddings. A key part of the farm for the events is our 1890’s barn, our 1870-98 farm house, the 100+ year old cottonwood trees, and the many out buildings.
